Pamyua will be staying in Barnard for 10 days and engaging in 7 days of schools workshops.

Don't miss their public performance!

Saturday, May 10th
Outdoors at Barnard Town Hall

Pamyua (pronounced bum-yo-ah) fuses traditional Inuit drum and dance melodies with R&B vocal styling and arrangements, self-described as “Inuit Soul.” They’ve created their own genre of music! They are proud to be able to share their indigenous culture and knowledge through music and dance to show the world how the arts can unite us. The group is a symbol of pride for Alaska’s indigenous people and all who see them perform become a part of their message. Pamyua has performed to joyful crowds across the globe and contributed music to National Geographic, Discovery Channel, and PBS.
