Rehearsals begin in late April and include 1 weekend afternoon and 2-3 evenings a week

Stage Manager

The Stage Manager is responsible for the overall organization of a theatrical production. The job requires keeping actors and production team on task, managing meetings and rehearsals, and remaining calm and level-headed throughout the process.

The Assistant Stage Manager supports all duties of the Stage Manager. This is an excellent introductory position for someone interested in theater production.


BarnArts Summer Youth Theater - The Spongebob Musical   

Camp dates: July 20-Aug 9, 9:30-3:30. Production weekend Aug 7-9, Barnard Town Hall, Barnard, VT.  Flexible scheduling but requires some attendance during camp hours.

Costume and Prop Designer

The Costume and Prop Designer works with the lead SYT creative team to design and execute costumes for 30 youth and props for the production, with the support of parent volunteers and interns.

Production: Nov 6-15, Barnard Town Hall, Barnard, VT

Rehearsals begin in September. 

Music Director

The Music Director is a key member of the creative team, responsible for teaching, leading and overseeing all musical aspects of the production. This includes working closely with the cast, orchestra, director and choreographer to ensure a cohesive and engaging performance, as well as selecting, training and conducting the small orchestra.
